Software Application Development Engineer

This engineer will join Intel’s Foundry Automation organization, creating software that enables operations across semiconductor manufacturing sites. Responsibilities cover the full development lifecycle, including collaborating with stakeholders, designing solutions, writing and reviewing code, automating tests, packaging releases, and resolving production issues. The position is suited to a software developer with experience in C#/.NET or Python and modern CI/CD and GitHub-based workflows. Candidates should be U.S. citizens able to obtain and retain a TS clearance with SCI access, and the work is performed on site in Phoenix or Hillsboro. Experience with cloud platforms, object-oriented design, microservices, or AI coding assistants would be beneficial.
