Sr. Systems Engineer - Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE)

The engineer will own and maintain system- and subsystem-level requirements while serving as a technical lead for verification and qualification activities. Working within Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Center, this person will coordinate with hardware and systems teams, integrated product leaders, chief engineers, and other technical stakeholders. Responsibilities include leading systems verification reviews, supporting program technical decisions, and ensuring requirements are properly evaluated through testing. The position also involves mentoring new engineers and becoming the primary systems engineering resource for the program. It suits an experienced defense or systems professional with strengths in requirements, integration, testing, collaboration, and lifecycle-based engineering. The job is fully onsite in Tucson and requires U.S. citizenship plus an active or interim-eligible Secret clearance before starting.
