Manufacturing Quality Engineer II
This engineer is part of Axon’s Global Quality organization and helps ensure reliable production from new product introduction through ongoing manufacturing. Responsibilities include managing nonconforming materials, leading root-cause and corrective-action efforts, preparing quality records, supporting inspections and measurement studies, and applying risk-based process controls. The role uses statistical methods, SPC, DMAIC, Lean practices, and audit activities to improve yield, consistency, and compliance. It also requires close collaboration with manufacturing, design, engineering, supply chain, procurement, suppliers, and other stakeholders during escalations and product launches.
