AI Infrastructure Engineer

This hands-on individual contributor will join Axon’s Corporate AI team within Business Technology, supporting internal applications that automate work and improve employee workflows. Responsibilities include building CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices, operating Vercel and multi-cloud deployments, and establishing monitoring, access controls, secrets management, documentation, and incident response processes. The engineer will also maintain existing tools, assist with testing and rollouts, and create standards for moving applications from experimentation through production and eventual retirement. AI-related work involves supporting LLM, agent, and retrieval-based applications with appropriate reliability, security, auditability, and responsible-use safeguards. The role suits a platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineer who enjoys brownfield improvement, operational ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and bringing structure to ambiguous systems.

Requirements

4+ years in platform, DevOps, infrastructure, internal tools, automation, or related engineeringStrong experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; Azure is especially usefulInfrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or similarExperience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitHub ActionsKnowledge of deployment operations, monitoring, logging, secrets, access controls, and incident supportAbility to maintain code in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, or similar, plus familiarity with AI application concepts
