This position supports RTX procurement and supply chain operations by developing sourcing strategies from product development through production and sustainment. The specialist negotiates complex supplier contracts, prepares and manages purchase orders, analyzes costs, and establishes commercial agreements that improve continuity and value. They collaborate with engineering, program, international subcontracting, and other cross-functional teams to align supplier capabilities with technical requirements, capacity needs, and delivery goals. The role also involves qualifying new suppliers, developing alternate sources, and addressing risks within the supply base. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3 yearsU.S. citizenshipExperience negotiating complex contracts such as FFP, CPFF, CPAF, IDIQ, or OTAKnowledge of FAR and DFARS requirementsExperience with supplier statements of work, RFPs, source selection, and supplier negotiationsExperience using SAP, PRISM, or similar resource planning systems
