Principal Engineer, Global Product Management

This position manages a portfolio of semiconductor products and guides their development across the full product life cycle. The engineer will translate customer and market needs into product requirements, maintain roadmaps, support new product introductions, and help align engineering, sales, finance, suppliers, and executive leadership. Responsibilities also include competitive research, business planning, financial modeling, product positioning, customer presentations, and promotion of products at industry events. The role is part of ASM’s global Product Management function and involves regular collaboration with customers and internal teams across disciplines. It suits an experienced semiconductor or capital-equipment professional with strong technical marketing and product leadership skills, commercial judgment, and a willingness to travel internationally.
