Principal Cost Modeling and Proposal Analyst

This position sits within Raytheon’s estimating organization and supports development, production, competitive, and contract modification proposals. The analyst will build and assess cost models, price buildups, estimates, request-for-estimate packages, and bases of estimate while collaborating with engineering, finance, program, and management teams. Responsibilities also include shaping pricing strategies, supporting reviews, audits, negotiations, and ensuring proposals comply with federal acquisition requirements. The role offers opportunities to improve estimating tools, establish cost targets, and coach other estimators. It suits an experienced proposal or cost professional with strong analytical, Excel, collaboration, leadership, and deadline-management skills who can work independently on complex defense programs.
