The Affordability Cost Modeler builds and executes comprehensive cost models that track expenses across development, production, and sustainment phases. You'll populate models with validated data from engineering, operations, and supply chain teams while applying statistical techniques to understand cost behavior and drivers. The role supports critical analyses like Design-to-Cost and lifecycle cost modeling, ensuring program teams have traceable, accurate cost information for affordability milestones. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM field with minimum 2 years relevant experience in cost modeling or quantitative analysisExperience in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain environmentsProficiency in cost modeling, economics, statistics, or quantitative data interpretationStrong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualizationActive or transferable Top Secret DoD security clearanceAbility to communicate technical and financial concepts to internal teams with strong organizational skills
