Evolved SeaSparrow Missile (ESSM) Production Chief Engineer
The ESSM Production Chief Engineer provides overall engineering authority for a large, high-value missile production portfolio supporting the U.S. and international consortium customers. The role directs a multidisciplinary team of approximately 120 engineers and coordinates technical work across multiple manufacturing sites, suppliers, and partner organizations. Responsibilities include governing engineering reviews, configuration and failure management, production issue resolution, technical risk, system requirements, integration, verification, and lifecycle execution. The leader also works closely with program functions, customer representatives, industrial partners, and supplier teams to make sound technical and commercial decisions. This opportunity suits an experienced chief engineer who has led complex production programs, managed substantial resources, mentored technical leaders, and can operate effectively in a globally distributed defense environment.
