Security Operations Engineer

This position manages the reliability and effective use of physical security applications and equipment across QTS data centers. The engineer translates operational needs into technical designs, supports installations and expansions, and coordinates maintenance with facilities, engineering, construction, vendors, and site personnel. The role also helps establish enterprise security designs and trains or monitors users of security systems. It suits an experienced security technology professional who can troubleshoot independently, manage competing priorities, interpret engineering documentation, and communicate with both technical staff and executives. Some travel and participation in an on-call rotation are required, and U.S. citizenship is necessary because of federal customer contracts.
