As a Responsible Systems Engineer, you'll drive the technical direction of missile programs spanning from concept through production and maintenance. Your responsibilities include managing system requirements, developing and maintaining technical documentation using MBSE tools, leading verification and validation activities, conducting trade studies, and collaborating across software, hardware, and test teams. This role requires deep systems engineering expertise and serves engineers who want to directly impact complex defense systems while mentoring junior team members and influencing program strategy. You'll work onsite in Tucson, Arizona in a highly collaborative environment with subject matter experts and government customers, becoming the principal technical authority on your assigned program.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant systems engineering experienceDemonstrated experience in software, firmware, hardware, integration, and/or test domainsProficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering, requirements development and management, or integration and testActive and transferable DoD Secret security clearance with U.S. citizenship requiredExperience with MBSE tools such as Cameo and requirements management platforms like DOORSExperience on missile programs or military defense systems preferred
