Senior Systems Engineer

This engineer will serve as a technical owner for hardware and software system requirements, interfaces, architecture, integration, and verification on Raytheon missile programs. The position works within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities organization alongside software, hardware, test, supply chain, chief engineering, customer, and multidisciplinary product teams. Responsibilities include leading trade studies, verification reviews, qualification activities, troubleshooting, failure investigations, technical documentation, and collaboration with suppliers and customers. The engineer will also help mentor colleagues, coordinate knowledge sharing, and provide technical leadership across the program’s systems engineering V-cycle. It suits an experienced systems engineer with defense, aerospace, missile, or complex integrated-system experience who is comfortable leading technical work in a highly collaborative, onsite environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant systems engineering experienceDemonstrated experience in software, firmware, hardware, integration, and/or test domainsProficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering, requirements development and management, or integration and testActive and transferable DoD Secret security clearance with U.S. citizenship requiredExperience with MBSE tools such as Cameo and requirements management platforms like DOORSExperience on missile programs or military defense systems preferred
