This position develops and maintains ergonomics and workplace safety programs for Raytheon’s Tucson site. The professional partners with teams across the business to evaluate work environments, recommend injury-prevention measures, deliver training, and address employee safety concerns. Responsibilities also include supporting first-aid and OSHA investigations, identifying root causes, tracking corrective actions, and using safety metrics to identify trends. The role operates independently on multiple projects while applying a broad range of EH&S regulations and standards. It would suit an experienced EH&S or ergonomics professional who can communicate effectively, manage technical information, and work in a regulated defense environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years in EH&S, or advanced degree with 3 years experienceAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship requiredExperience conducting ergonomic evaluations in industrial and office environmentsKnowledge of OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, ANSI and other relevant safety regulationsStrong project management and cross-functional collaboration skillsPursue Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP) or Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) certification within 2 years
