Principal Specialist, Global Trade (Hybrid)

This position sits within Collins Aerospace’s Global Trade function and helps develop compliant strategies for international sales, manufacturing, procurement, and support involving defense and dual-use items. The specialist prepares and manages export and import authorizations, interprets U.S. trade regulations, facilitates controlled transactions, and provides status and risk guidance to business leaders. Responsibilities also include supporting compliance reviews, investigating potential issues, improving procedures, training employees, and reviewing information before release to non-U.S. persons. The role involves close coordination with program teams, technical experts, legal authorities, and other trade professionals across a global organization. It would suit an experienced trade compliance practitioner who is detail-oriented, decisive, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple time-sensitive matters.
