AIM-9X Guidance Systems Lead

This position leads the electrical guidance unit function within Raytheon’s Air Launched Effector Guidance Systems organization. The engineer will guide multidisciplinary teams, conduct technical trade studies, manage subsystem risks, and coordinate with program, operations, quality, supply chain, and customer stakeholders. Responsibilities span hardware development and production support, circuit-card and electromechanical troubleshooting, proposal work, configuration control, and supplier issue resolution. The role suits an experienced electrical or systems engineering leader who can communicate effectively, organize complex work, and make sound decisions in a defense-program environment. Candidates must hold an applicable STEM bachelor’s degree, bring at least eight years of progressively responsible engineering experience, and possess an active Secret clearance with U.S. citizenship.
