The Engineering Financial Analyst serves the Raytheon Functional Finance team by providing critical financial oversight and analysis for engineering programs. This role partners with engineering leads and program managers to develop estimates at completion, monitor actual spending against budgets, and prepare variance analyses using tools like SAP, APEX, and project management systems. The position suits detail-oriented professionals who can independently manage complex financial processes while collaborating across organizational boundaries, with strong Excel skills and an ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders. Success requires balancing analytical rigor with practical problem-solving, as the analyst will support monthly reporting cycles, quarterly forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis to drive cost and schedule predictability.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 5+ years relevant experience, or Advanced degree plus 3+ years experienceProficiency with SAP, APEX, or similar financial management systemsAdvanced Microsoft Excel and Office Suite skillsExperience with Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and analysisKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and government contracting preferredU.S. citizenship required
