Software Engineer II
This engineer will design, implement, integrate, and support object-oriented applications, libraries, and hardware instrument drivers using technologies such as C#, C++, and Microsoft Visual Studio. The software supports factory equipment, engineering laboratories, field systems, and production operations throughout the weapon-system lifecycle. Responsibilities include deriving software requirements, debugging applications and instrumentation, managing multiple technical assignments, and contributing both independently and within multidisciplinary teams. The position suits an early-career software engineer with a STEM background and experience developing applications on Windows platforms. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim or active Secret security clearance are required, along with onsite work in Tucson.
