Sr. Systems Engineer - Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE)
This engineer will maintain system and subsystem requirements and oversee their assessment during verification and qualification testing. The position participates in technical planning, leads systems verification reviews, and partners with cross-functional engineering teams and program leadership on system development activities. As a senior contributor, the engineer is expected to become a primary technical resource for the program and support onboarding, mentoring, and development of other engineers. The role is part of Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Center within the Effectors System Engineering Department and is fully onsite in Tucson, Arizona. It suits an experienced systems engineer with defense or complex product development experience, strong collaboration skills, and an active Top Secret clearance.
