Electrical Component Engineer (Onsite)

This engineer partners with design, sourcing, quality, operations, supply chain, and contract manufacturing teams to select components and establish reliable supply strategies from NPI through product retirement. Responsibilities include managing component databases and BOMs, addressing manufacturer change notices and obsolescence, qualifying alternate suppliers, improving cost and reliability, and supporting products with extended lifecycles. The position also develops component standards, maintains accurate technical documentation, and provides analysis related to environmental compliance and supply continuity. It suits an experienced component engineering professional who can interpret electrical documentation, influence stakeholders, manage several projects, and make practical decisions in a fast-moving environment. The role is based at Axon’s Scottsdale headquarters and reports to the Director of Category Management.
