Life Safety Technician

This position manages gas detection equipment installed in cleanrooms, sub-fabs, and chemical storage locations to help protect employees and maintain safe production operations. The technician inspects, tests, repairs, and calibrates systems while coordinating equipment work, replacement materials, vendors, and facility partners. They also assist the Emergency Response Team during gas alarms and other life-safety incidents, while maintaining records needed for regulatory and internal reviews. Success requires comfort with electronic and mechanical diagnostics, chemical detection technologies, contamination-control procedures, and applicable safety standards. It is well suited to an experienced semiconductor gas or chemical-delivery professional who can communicate effectively and respond to critical issues in a 24/7 facility.

Requirements

Strong electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skillsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent minimumExperience with gas detection technologies and semiconductor TGM systems preferredAbility to work in cleanroom and hazardous environments with proper safety protocolsAvailable to support 24/7 facility operations including emergency response10+ years experience in gas and chemical delivery to semiconductor sites
