This engineer works within RTX’s Digital Products Configuration Management organization to keep digital product artifacts consistent, secure, versioned, and properly documented throughout their lifecycle. Responsibilities include administering development libraries and configuration tools, supporting change review boards, conducting builds and releases, and maintaining audits, status records, and dependency standards. The position also involves managing tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Artifactory, and related CI/CD platforms, along with scripting and environment coordination. The engineer partners with technical and program leaders to help deliver releases on schedule and ensure configuration processes are followed. It suits a mid-level STEM professional with software configuration management, DevSecOps, automation, and agile development experience who already holds an active Secret clearance and can work onsite in Tucson.

Requirements

BS/BA degree in STEM field plus minimum 2 years of engineering experienceActive Secret security clearance on day 1 and U.S. citizenshipProficiency with version control, change management, and agile planning toolsExperience with shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and Windows environmentsKnowledge of DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, GitLab CI/CD, or CoverityUnderstanding of digital product/software configuration management principles and practices
