Semiconductor Maintenance Technician - Implant

This technician supports the Implant equipment area in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment, maintaining toolsets from Axcelis and Applied Materials. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems; completing scheduled maintenance; changing consumables; and rebuilding specialized components such as ion sources and electrodes. The technician uses SPC, 5S, FDC, and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and develop corrective action plans. Success requires collaboration with internal and external teams, accurate documentation, and the ability to train or assist others. This opportunity suits someone with electronics or mechanical training, relevant implant or military experience, strong problem-solving ability, and the physical readiness for extended standing, confined-space work, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

AA, AS, or AAS degree in electronics or mechanical discipline (or equivalent implant/military experience)Troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsKnowledge of SPC, 5S, and FDC systems with strong problem-solving skillsPhysical ability to stand for up to 12 hours, stoop, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 poundsProficiency with written and verbal communication and safety protocol complianceAbility to work independently in high-volume manufacturing with minimal direction
