This Chief Engineer role leads the technical strategy and execution for Raytheon's Coyote CUAS (Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System) development program. You'll own the complete technical baseline, from requirements and system analysis through hardware/software design, integration, and testing, while coordinating across engineering functions and interfacing directly with government customers. The role combines hands-on technical expertise in radar systems and missile development with program leadership responsibilities, including mentoring engineers, managing technical reviews, and balancing cost, schedule, and performance priorities. This position suits experienced engineering leaders who thrive in complex defense programs, can drive technical decisions with rigor and accountability, and are comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders across multiple organizations in a fast-paced development environment.

Requirements

STEM degree with minimum 12 years of relevant technical and project leadership experienceExpertise in radar digital exciter systems development and testingActive and transferable Secret-level security clearance; U.S. citizenship requiredExperience identifying, managing, and mitigating technical risk across programsProven ability to balance technical, cost, and schedule priorities in cross-functional teamsExperience with CUAS interceptor development, production, or maintenance preferred
