The Principal Electrical Engineer - Production Hardware position leads the design, testing, and production of complex electrical and electro-mechanical systems for air-launched weapons guidance platforms. You'll manage technical oversight, cost control, and scheduling while troubleshooting circuit card assemblies, RF systems, and integrated subsystems across the development and sustainment lifecycle. The role requires hands-on expertise in digital, analog, and RF hardware combined with leadership capability to coordinate with operations, quality, supply chain, and other engineering disciplines to solve production challenges and drive continuous improvement. This position suits experienced electrical engineers with strong circuit design fundamentals, laboratory troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead technical investigations and manage complex aerospace-defense programs, ideally with prior experience in missile systems or weapons guidance electronics.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM field with minimum 8 years relevant experienceHands-on experience with RF, analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design and troubleshootingProficiency with laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzersExperience leading technical projects, failure investigations, and issue resolutionActive and transferable U.S. government Secret-level DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship requiredFamiliarity with circuit card assembly design, electrical testing, and production engineering processes
