Principal Electrical Engineer - Production Hardware

Based in Tucson, Arizona, this onsite position supports the design, testing, integration, and sustainment of circuit card assemblies and electro-mechanical or RF-based systems. The role works closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other engineering groups to investigate failures, resolve production issues, improve manufacturing yield, and maintain product performance. It also involves technical leadership, reporting, cost and schedule tracking, engineering change implementation, and occasional supplier or test-equipment support. The position suits an experienced electrical engineer with strong hands-on laboratory and troubleshooting skills across digital, analog, RF, or mixed-signal hardware. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance are required, with less than 10% travel and a first-shift 9/80 schedule.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM field with minimum 8 years relevant experienceHands-on experience with RF, analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design and troubleshootingProficiency with laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzersExperience leading technical projects, failure investigations, and issue resolutionActive and transferable U.S. government Secret-level DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship requiredFamiliarity with circuit card assembly design, electrical testing, and production engineering processes
