Senior Engineer II, Mechanical Engineering

This engineer will create and improve mechanical components and assemblies used in advanced semiconductor processing equipment. Responsibilities include structural, thermal, and fluid analysis; Creo modeling and drawings; design reviews; prototype and hardware testing; and preparation of documentation for manufacturing and product release. The position works closely with manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and other engineering groups while managing technical projects and engineering changes. It is well suited to an experienced mechanical engineer with semiconductor or capital-equipment expertise, strong design fundamentals, and the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment. Experience with vacuum systems, deposition equipment, multiphysics simulation, heaters, chucks, and GD&T would be especially valuable.

Requirements

Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related fieldSeveral years of mechanical design experience in semiconductor or capital equipmentExperience with vacuum chambers, reactors, heaters, pneumatics, or cooling systemsStructural, thermal, and fluid dynamics analysis or simulation experienceProficiency with Creo or comparable 3D CAD and detailed engineering drawingsKnowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical design fundamentals
