The Principal Systems Engineer will own the end-to-end organization and delivery of Design Verification and Qualification Testing for complex defense systems. Responsibilities include developing test strategies and procedures, preparing resources and schedules, leading Test Readiness Reviews, and ensuring hardware, software, instrumentation, configuration, and data systems are prepared. The engineer will work closely with laboratory personnel, technical leads, program management, customers, and external test facilities while guiding teams through execution and issue resolution. The position also supports root-cause investigations, corrective actions, risk management, and final verification reporting, with limited travel required. It suits an experienced systems or test engineering leader who has managed distributed test environments and can work within structured DoD verification processes. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance are required.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline with minimum 8 years relevant experienceProven experience leading design verification and qualification testing for complex systemsExperience coordinating and managing activities across multiple distributed test environmentsDemonstrated leadership experience managing technical teamsActive or transferable U.S. government security clearance (Secret level required)U.S. citizenship required
