Senior Principal Reliability Engineer

This position sits within Raytheon’s Lifecycle Engineering organization, which supports product safety, reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle performance. The engineer will guide reliability programs across multiple product phases, establish requirements and test approaches, and oversee analyses such as FMECA, reliability prediction, derating, ESS optimization, and FRACAS. The role also involves leading engineers across experience levels, identifying capability gaps, reviewing technical documentation, and partnering with program leaders and customers. It suits an experienced reliability professional who can operate as a subject matter expert while providing strategic direction and developing others. The position is onsite in Tucson, Arizona, and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting.
