Principal Systems Engineer - Missile Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer

This engineer will help shape and deliver missile GNC functionality, including embedded tactical flight code, system studies, navigation algorithms, and six-degree-of-freedom simulations. The position works within an integrated product team spanning software, firmware, and systems engineering to verify performance and introduce new capabilities. Responsibilities also include modeling disturbances, optimizing system behavior, conducting Monte Carlo analyses, and supporting agile planning and execution. The successful candidate will provide technical mentorship and may lead engineers or functional activities while coordinating with program leadership and customers. It is well suited to an experienced GNC, signal processing, or modeling and simulation professional with missile systems expertise, strong programming skills, and the ability to work onsite in a cleared defense environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and at least 8 years of relevant experienceBackground in missile GNC, signal processing, modeling, or simulationExperience with control systems, dynamics, Kalman filters, Monte Carlo analysis, navigation, or related areasProficiency with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, or object-oriented software developmentTechnical leadership or management experience in an engineering environmentU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting
