Senior Manager, Material Program Manager

This leader will own material strategy and supply chain performance for Naval Standard Missile development programs supporting defense missions. The position operates in a matrixed environment, working with internal functions and external suppliers to address constraints, manage risks, support negotiations, and meet cost and schedule commitments. Responsibilities include MRP planning, subcontract and supplier management, financial forecasting, earned value, budgets, working capital, proposals, and quarterly EACs. The manager will supervise and develop approximately three individual contributors while briefing program and customer leaders on material status and mitigation plans. This opportunity suits an experienced defense or aerospace supply chain professional with strong program management, financial, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills who holds an active Secret clearance and can work onsite in Tucson.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years relevant experience, or advanced degree plus 7+ years in supply chain/material planningExtensive material requirements planning (MRP) process experienceSubcontract management backgroundActive DoD Secret level security clearance and U.S. citizenshipStrong financial management skills including earned value, budgeting, and forecastingLeadership experience managing teams in matrixed organizations
