This position sits within RTX’s Earned Value Management Systems team and serves as a subject-matter leader for applying compliant EVM practices across programs. The manager will prepare teams for reviews, evaluate EVM documentation, advise on contract requirements, and provide practical feedback for resolving process gaps. A major focus is developing the capability of program leaders and control account managers through training, communications, mentoring, and collaborative improvement initiatives. The role interacts with senior business leaders, finance organizations, program teams, external customers, and government counterparts, with occasional travel possible. It is well suited to an experienced program controls professional who combines strong EVMS expertise with analytical ability, influence, communication skills, and a collaborative leadership style.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years relevant experience (or advanced degree with 5 years experience)Demonstrated expertise in Earned Value Management Systems, program controls, and cost/schedule integrationKnowledge of EVMS compliance, reporting requirements (IMS, IPMR/IPMDAR), and government standardsAbility to conduct training, create professional communications, and deploy EVM tools to program teamsStrong communication and influence skills across all organizational levels and with government counterpartsActive or ability to obtain U.S. Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
