This position sits within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities Center at Raytheon (RTX), supporting the development and validation of sophisticated effector systems ranging from ship-launched missiles to hypersonic technologies. The role involves planning and executing complex integration and test activities in both controlled lab environments and operational field settings, including coordinating with military platforms, test ranges, and customers. You'll troubleshoot technical issues through detailed data analysis, lead small teams through test campaigns, and prepare formal documentation for critical program reviews. This role suits experienced systems engineers who thrive in hands-on technical environments, have strong problem-solving skills, and can effectively collaborate across engineering disciplines and with external stakeholders. Travel to test sites and customer locations is expected up to 25% annually. The position requires a DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM field with minimum 8 years of relevant systems integration and test experienceDemonstrated experience in lab or field environment systems integration, platform integration, or flight test executionStrong data collection, analysis, and technical troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose complex system issuesExperience generating technical documentation such as test plans, procedures, and reportsLeadership experience managing teams in integration and test activitiesActive or obtainable DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
