Diffusion Equipment Engineer

This engineer will own the performance and reliability of diffusion-related manufacturing tools, addressing recurring failures and improving availability, utilization, yield, and scrap levels. The position is part of Front End Operations and works closely with manufacturing, process engineering, technicians, and cross-functional improvement teams. Responsibilities include equipment installation, maintenance procedure development, data-driven failure analysis, specification writing, capacity planning, and support for technology development. The engineer will also train technicians and colleagues and communicate technical findings to varied audiences. It suits an experienced semiconductor equipment professional who is analytical, practical, self-directed, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced factory.
