The GIDEP Alert Manager supports Raytheon’s quality and reliability function by reviewing incoming alerts and determining which programs may be exposed to the reported issue. The role analyzes component data, applications, failure information, and program documentation to define scope, usage limits, root causes, and recommended responses. It coordinates with internal teams and external customers, presents findings and action plans to program leaders, and tracks mitigation through resolution. Success requires strong knowledge of electronic components, bills of material, engineering drawings, military specifications, and qualification standards. This position suits an experienced engineer who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable influencing stakeholders across developmental and production programs. An active U.S. DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required for this fully remote U.S.-based role.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant engineering experienceExperience preparing and presenting detailed issue analysis with recommended action plans to program officialsKnowledge of component data, drawings, and BOM management for developmental and production programsUnderstanding of MIL Specs, drawings, standards, QPLs, and QMLs in design packagesStrong analytical skills for collecting, organizing, and disseminating technical informationActive DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship eligibility
