Systems Engineer I - Signal Processing (Onsite)

This position contributes to radar and electro-optical/infrared sensing programs by evaluating algorithms used for tasks such as signal cleanup, detection, tracking, classification, and sensor fusion. The engineer will work in laboratory settings to test models, integrate processing functions with tactical hardware and software, and measure performance against engineering requirements. Responsibilities also include writing MATLAB or Python tools, analyzing test data, preparing technical documentation, and reporting findings to project leaders and stakeholders. It is designed for an early-career engineer with a foundation in electrical or computer engineering and an interest in applied signal or image processing. The work is performed onsite in Tucson and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting.
