HWIL Software Engineer I
This engineer joins Raytheon’s multidisciplinary Hardware-in-the-Loop organization, which develops and operates realistic test environments for missile systems. The work involves integrating software, electronics, and firmware, diagnosing system issues, analyzing failure data, and supporting corrective actions. Engineers collaborate with weapon-system designers to turn requirements into working integration and test solutions. The position is intended for a recent Computer Science or Software Engineering graduate with limited professional experience and an interest in laboratory-based systems work. Familiarity with test instruments, telemetry, communications interfaces, programming, and data-analysis automation would be beneficial. The job is fully onsite in Tucson and requires U.S. citizenship along with the ability to obtain the necessary security clearance.
