This role combines technical engineering leadership with people management responsibilities at RTX's Tucson facility. You will oversee a team of engineers conducting system-of-systems performance studies and kill chain analysis while spending approximately 10-20% of your time on administrative duties including talent acquisition, performance reviews, and career development. You'll interface with program managers, chief engineers, and military warfighter communities to coordinate technical work and address programmatic issues. The ideal candidate has deep defense industry experience with modeling and simulation, proven team leadership skills, and the ability to balance hands-on engineering contributions with strategic team management. Requirements

STEM degree with minimum 8 years relevant experience in defense industryActive Top Secret DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship required before startProven experience leading engineering teamsBackground in defense modeling, high-fidelity simulations, weapon systems, or kill chain analysisExperience working with DoD, Pentagon, or military customersStrong leadership and communication skills
