The Program Planner II serves as a scheduling expert within Raytheon's Planning organization, responsible for creating and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using MS Project that reflect program requirements, contractual obligations, and scope changes throughout a program's lifecycle. This role requires detailed analysis of schedules, identification of critical paths, and variance reporting to ensure compliance with government customer requirements and earned value management standards. The planner works cross-functionally with program managers, senior leadership, and external stakeholders, translating statements of work into executable plans while managing technical, cost, and schedule constraints. This position suits professionals with project management or scheduling experience who excel at communication, attention to detail, and can navigate complex aerospace-defense program environments while maintaining current security clearances.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field with minimum 2 years of program planning, scheduling, or project management experienceProficiency with scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera, or OpenPlanAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship requiredStrong communication skills with ability to present schedule analysis and status to diverse stakeholder levelsExperience with government regulations and earned value management complianceCapability to decompose statements of work into executable program plans with resource and budget integration
