This engineer will contribute to an effectors program by helping shape systems from early concepts through deployment and mission support. Responsibilities may include developing requirements and architectures, using model-based systems engineering tools, planning and conducting verification activities, integrating hardware and software, and analyzing test data. The position works closely with engineers, technical leaders, customers, vendors, and test organizations to resolve issues and confirm system performance. It is suited to an early-career systems engineer with experience in requirements, integration, or testing who enjoys hands-on technical problem solving in a defense environment. The job is fully onsite in Tucson, Arizona, may involve travel to test and customer locations, and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM field with minimum 2 years of relevant systems engineering, integration, or test experienceActive and transferable U.S. Secret-level DoD security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)Experience with systems requirements, integration, and testingKnowledge of systems engineering product lifecycle and Model Based Systems EngineeringProficiency with digital engineering tools such as DOORS or CameoAbility to perform data analysis and troubleshoot hardware/software/system issues
