Lead, Category Management

This position sits within ASM’s global sourcing organization and manages the full lifecycle of suppliers in the Advanced Materials category. The successful candidate will create sourcing strategies, lead supplier selection and contracting, and develop partnerships that support product launches and ongoing manufacturing. They will also monitor supplier results, resolve performance issues, and build contingency plans for capacity, geopolitical, and continuity risks. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, business units, and international suppliers in a complex manufacturing environment. It is well suited to an experienced procurement or category management leader who can combine commercial judgment, technical understanding, data-based improvement, and strong stakeholder influence.
