Principal Systems Engineer and Integration Lead (Onsite)

This position sits within Raytheon’s Systems Integration and Test organization, which assembles, evaluates, and validates complex defense systems in laboratory and field settings. The successful engineer will coordinate plans, schedules, readiness activities, and milestone execution for subsystem, all-up-round, and flight-test events. Responsibilities may include flowing down and managing requirements, leading integration and verification, supporting hardware-in-the-loop testing, and communicating technical status to customers and program stakeholders. The role suits an experienced systems engineer who can lead cross-functional teams and work across disciplines such as software, safety, security, quality, configuration, and data management. It is performed onsite in Tucson, Arizona and requires U.S. citizenship with an active, current Top Secret clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM field with minimum 8 years of engineering experienceExperience in requirements development, system integration, and flight test planning/executionDemonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teamsExperience planning and conducting milestone reviews (Consent to Build, Test Readiness Review, etc.)Active Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required at hireExperience with Earned Value Management or similar project tracking methodologies
