This position leads network engineering efforts for classified defense infrastructure projects at RTX's Tucson facility. You will serve as a subject matter expert in voice and data networking, responsible for architecting solutions involving routers, switches, firewalls, and security systems while ensuring compliance with government standards. The role requires hands-on technical work managing LAN/WAN components, conducting vulnerability assessments, optimizing network performance, and driving infrastructure improvement projects. Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus 8 years relevant experience (or advanced degree plus 6 years experience) in network engineeringActive, transferable Secret DOD security clearance required on day 1; U.S. citizenship requiredAdvanced hands-on knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and troubleshootingExperience with security platforms (Cisco ISE, SolarWinds) and classified computing environmentsNIST/STIG compliance knowledge and understanding of network security best practicesAbility to work with general supervision, mentor teams, and travel approximately 30% domestically
