As a Systems Engineer II focused on Guidance, Navigation, and Control, you'll be responsible for developing, testing, and integrating embedded flight software for tactical missiles while ensuring systems meet performance requirements. You'll lead technical analyses including Monte Carlo simulations, model development, and system optimization to inform capability refinement and obsolescence solutions. Working within an agile team environment, you'll collaborate on 6 DOF simulations and flight software integration while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to strategic performance assessments. This role suits engineers with strong fundamentals in control systems, signal processing, or navigation algorithms who want to apply their expertise to defense systems in a hands-on technical capacity. The position requires active engagement in both algorithm development and system-level problem solving with immediate impact on mission-critical programs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field with minimum 2 years relevant experienceExperience with GNC, Signal Processing, and/or Modeling/SimulationProficiency in digital control systems, dynamics, Kalman filters, Monte Carlo analysis, or system-level performance assessmentsProgramming experience with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, or Object-Oriented designActive and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance required on day 1U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility
