Analyst, Accounting & Controllership

This analyst provides general accounting support at the Raytheon business unit headquarters level and develops familiarity with the company’s accounting systems, policies, and structures. Core responsibilities include preparing journal entries and reporting or tax schedules, reconciling balance sheet accounts, monitoring internal controls, and investigating changes through periodic flux analysis. The position also contributes to audits, special projects, process improvement efforts, and other ad hoc financial analyses. It would suit a self-directed professional with accounting experience, strong Excel and financial systems skills, and the ability to explain account balances clearly. Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated environments would be helpful, and U.S. citizenship is required for access to the relevant financial management systems.
