Mechanical Engineer I (Onsite)
This engineer will work within Raytheon’s Energetics and Propulsion organization, contributing to propulsion systems used in missile and space vehicle applications. Responsibilities include coordinating mechanical, electrical, software, controller, and thruster interfaces; resolving manufacturing issues; and supporting subcontractor and supplier activities. The position also involves managing development projects, reviewing technical and contract deliverables, planning future technology efforts, and presenting engineering information to leadership and government customers. It is well suited to an early-career mechanical engineer with solid propulsion experience, systems thinking, and an interest in aerospace and defense programs. The role is fully onsite in Tucson, Arizona, and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting.
