Maintenance Engineer II (Onsite)

This engineer will oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance approaches for systems such as robots, PLC-controlled machinery, conveyors, and vision equipment. Working within the asset reliability function, they will investigate recurring breakdowns, improve equipment metrics, develop maintenance documentation, and support technicians with troubleshooting and training. The position also partners with Controls, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams during equipment launches, production changes, and major downtime events. It suits an experienced manufacturing or reliability engineer who enjoys working directly on the factory floor and using technical and analytical skills to improve automated production. Occasional off-shift or weekend support may be needed for critical repairs, launches, or production issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field3-6 years of maintenance, reliability engineering, or manufacturing engineering experienceStrong knowledge of automated manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, and failure analysisExperience with PLC-based automation systems and root cause analysisFamiliarity with CMMS systems and predictive/preventive maintenance strategiesExcellent cross-functional communication skills and data-driven problem-solving ability
