The Material Program Manager leads all supply chain activities for a major aerospace and defense program, serving as the critical link between program management, engineering teams, and the supply chain organization. You'll be responsible for executing procurement strategies, managing material forecasts and budgets, driving purchase order placement, and ensuring supplier performance meets program objectives. The role requires managing risks and opportunities, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining key performance indicators across the supply base. This position suits experienced supply chain professionals who can influence cross-functional teams, take ownership of program execution, and thrive in a dynamic aerospace and defense environment with both strategic and operational responsibilities.

Requirements

University degree or equivalent experience plus minimum 5 years relevant experience in supply chain, operations, finance, or production controlMinimum 3 years in a supply chain or related roleU.S. citizenship required for program accessExperience with supplier management and contract negotiationsStrong project management capabilities including risk and opportunity managementAbility to work onsite in Tucson, Arizona and travel domestically/internationally as needed
