Material Program Manager (MPM)

The Material Program Manager serves as the supply chain leader for the SM-3 IIA program within Raytheon’s Naval Power business, coordinating materials activities across program management, engineering, integrated product teams, and procurement. This person manages forecasts, budgets, estimates at completion, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier engagements, and performance metrics to support program cost, schedule, and quality objectives. The role also contributes to sourcing strategies, requests for proposals and quotes, supplier negotiations, and risk and opportunity management. Success requires strong cross-functional communication, independent judgment, and the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external suppliers. It is well suited to an experienced supply chain, operations, finance, contracting, or project management professional with defense or developmental program experience.
