Program Supplier Quality Engineer
This engineer ensures product and quality requirements are clearly communicated to suppliers and incorporated into purchasing and technical documentation. They evaluate supplier performance, lead root-cause and corrective-action efforts, and apply APQP, Lean, Six Sigma, and related quality tools to improve manufacturing processes. The position also supports audits, supplier assessments, change reviews, qualification activities, and interactions with external stakeholders such as the DCMA. It is part of Raytheon’s supplier and program quality function and involves working across electrical, mechanical, energetic, and other technical supply areas. The role suits an experienced quality or manufacturing engineer who can interpret technical drawings, influence suppliers, communicate effectively, and obtain a U.S. security clearance.
