Principal Process Engineer

This engineer supports manufacturing by ensuring materials, process instructions, and equipment documentation are accurate, practical, and aligned with engineering requirements. They investigate production problems, determine root causes, develop durable solutions, and help operators and engineers apply materials and processes correctly. The position also acts as a bridge between factory operations and Materials & Process Engineering, addressing supply disruptions, obsolete materials, substitutions, and testing needs. Continuous improvement work includes reducing variation, removing production constraints, standardizing materials, and sustaining reliable processes. It suits an experienced manufacturing, materials, chemical, mechanical, or related engineer who is comfortable working hands-on with factory personnel and leading technical projects in a secure aerospace and defense environment.
