Senior Mechanical Engineer - Test Equipment, Onsite (Tucson, AZ)

This position involves designing, building, and sustaining mechanical test systems used to validate Raytheon's advanced defense products in demanding environments including vibration, thermal, hydraulic, and RF testing. You'll work within the Test Equipment Engineering Directorate, a multi-discipline team responsible for creating test solutions that support weapon system verification, qualification, and production across all phases from initial design through long-term sustainment. The role requires both hands-on technical expertise in mechanical design and leadership capability, as you'll diagnose production issues, recommend improvements, and coach less experienced engineers.
