EHS Engineer

TSMCPhoenix, AZ

This position supports TSMC Arizona’s corporate ESH function by coordinating environmental programs and setting safety expectations for facility operations. The engineer will interpret changing regulations, guide teams on hazardous waste and compliance matters, assess equipment and process risks, and serve as a central contact for EHS and management-of-change activities. The role involves collaboration with construction, facilities, materials management, warehouses, and other departments in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. It suits an experienced occupational safety or environmental professional who can manage multiple programs, investigate hazards, communicate clearly, and apply regulatory knowledge in practice. The position is based on-site in Phoenix and may include up to one month of training in Taiwan.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of relevant industrial or manufacturing health and safety experienceKnowledge of RCRA, wastewater, air, OSHA, DOT, and Arizona safety regulationsAbility to conduct risk assessments and hazard analysesStrong written, verbal, presentation, and teamwork skillsWillingness to work on-site and travel to Taiwan for training if needed
